At SERVPRO of Midtown Manhattan, we are stepping up to ensure the safety of every member of our community. “Crews are working in the field and administrative staff are working from home everyday. We are doing the most we can right now to help those in need,” said Robert Citrangola, owner of SERVPRO of Midtown Manhattan. Robert has been following SERVPRO for years and has owned his own franchise for a decade. He gave us firsthand accounts on how it was being on the front lines in one of the hardest hit cities, New York City. While each job brings its own anxieties, we are grateful to be able to help in this fight that is affecting our home and family. We will be there from the start of this to the end of this.
Robert has found that keeping connected to the community and to his team is vital during this time. He wants to ensure that his team is prepared and ready to be fully beneficial to the city. Coronavirus has continued to rise in New York City, but as people continue to venture out it is imperative that we continue to serve our community by keeping New York City clean.
“As a leading clean-up force in this, we have to treat each job with extra attention and care. This is a difficult time for people, so we need to always remember to treat our clients with a new sense of understanding. This is imperative to keeping our business strong. We also want to keep our employees safe, so we ensure that all field employees are in full PPE wear and are protected. New York City and State have been hit hard, but with the contribution of other Franchises it has helped flatten the curve. If we continue to work together, we will all come out of this better.”
Our employees make all of this possible. We are ensuring the safety of our employees by providing full PPE gear for any job site. Citrangola spoke on the importance of full PPE and the peace of mind it provides for employees in the field. “We are following all the CDC and Corporate guidelines to keep our employees protected,” said Robert. His team is fully backed by their franchise and corporation in what they are trying to achieve within the city.
As a whole SERVPRO is providing services to military, first responders, and healthcare workers. We believe that ensuring the safety of those on the front lines of this is essential to creating community. We have been able to provide lunches for the military that has come to serve New York City during our time of need. We know how far some extra support can go because we have been on the other side of this. We are proud to be able to serve our city everyday and our ability to connect with others all over the country to ensure our customers' needs are being met.
