This NYC home was stricken with visible mold spores following a massive flood. The Project Manager identified the bathtub as the source of the loss as the pipe backed up and overflowed CAT 3 water.

Upon your local SERVPRO of Midtown Manhattan’s arrival, our team protected themselves with Personal Protective Equipment from head to toe. Then, our crew flood cut the walls 4 feet in both bedrooms, the bathroom, and the laundry room.

All affected areas were then HEPA vacuumed, cleaned, sprayed with antimicrobial, and then encapsulated to prevent any mold from returning. This was all done under negative air pressure with air scrubbers operating with HEPA filters. 

The floors were cleaned in all areas, and the bathtub, which was the source of the loss (the pipe backed up and overflowed CAT 3 water), was cleaned and sanitized.
